WHAT DOES DIGBY HAVE FOR YOU? We have a wide variety of opportunities at Digby and are always growing! VAN DRIVERS * 48 state over the road runs -- Primary service lanes include the area east of I-35, the I-40 corridor and the Denver area. * Out from 14 - 21 days (Because of our traffic flow, drivers tend to "get through the house" a little more often). * Drivers average over 2,800 miles per week * Dry freight * Mostly drop and hook. * Very few multiple stop loads * Average length of haul about 900 miles. Programs for driver trainees, solos; as well as a GREAT team program. SHORT HAUL This division is available to drivers that live in the following areas; * Nashville * Chattanooga * Buffalo * Ft. Worth * Chicago In most cases these drivers are home almost every other night and are paid on an hourly basis. These drivers are assigned to trucks and not slip seated. We have flatbed opportunities only in the Nashville market. FLATBED * Servicing the Eastern half of the U.S. * Average length of haul approximately 2,800 mi/week. * Home most weekends and occasionally during the week * Freight is mostly steel, lumber and brick. (We do haul steel coils, experience with coils is needed.) Our main area of traffic is from VA to TX and points in between.
