Bay & Bay Transfer Co., Inc. was established in 1941 by two brothers from the Morse family. Bay & Bay Transfer's name comes from its original source of power, two Bay Mare horses. In the beginning, the Morse brothers hauled many things from heavy equipment to raw materials like wood. Since 1960, Bay & Bay Transfer has provided an array of transportation services to its customers. From heavy equipment, like large plastic injection molding machines weighing over 100 tons to dry bulk commodities hauled in pneumatic trailers. Dry Truckload services include FAK, Pad Wrap & Rolling Stock capabilities. Regional and Long Haul Bulk Non-Food Grade Dry materials Logistic Services specific to Store Openings & New Construction in: Retail, Restaurants, Hotels/Motels, Government projects like Schools & Hospitals Brokerage of TL, LTL/Partial Shipments, Flatbed and other Specialized Shipments Base Pay: OTR driving pay: 0-2 years experience .30 cents per mile loaded & empty 2-3 years experience .32 cents per mile loaded & empty Over 3 years experience .34 cents per mile loaded & empty Pay is increased annually .01 cents per loaded mile upon completion of satisfactory review. Up to a maximum of .38 cents per mile loaded and empty Additional .05 per mile on blanket wrapped loads for that portion of the trip. $40.00 to fold blankets when required. $20.00 to $40.00 for each extra stop. $35.00 a day for approved layovers (Exception: Up to $125 per day layover on trade shows). $50.00 Boroughs pay Long Island, Brooklyn, Bronx, Manhattan, Richmond, Queens $13.00 per hour for local city work. QUALIFICATIONS: Have valid CDL in good standing from their home state. Meet all physical qualifications for drivers Minimum age of 23 years old. Safe driving record. No DWI or driving while under influence of drugs. No Serious violations
